The belt was in Monday's mail and I am wearing as I write. It's beautifully made, and despite my high expectations, better than I anticipated. Thanks very much.

Thank you so much for this beautiful cuff bracelet!! It looks so nice on Tim, and he has been wearing almost everyday! So he loves it too. Thank you

Throckmorton Jones quality of craftsmanship is truly unmatched as are the uniqueness and individuality of each piece in their collection. I have also had the privilege of watching their designs come to life and the attention given to each detail. What also makes them stand out is the countless hours spent collecting the vintage materials and the care given to using local resources. They have also generously shared her vast knowledge and time with children in teaching them how to design and assemble pieces using recyclable materials.

I know it sounds strange to say that I'm finding mask wearing fun and stylish these days - but it's true. I have about 5 different Throckmorton Jones masks now, and I like being able to pick which one fits my mood, and/or matches what I am wearing. They fit my face nicely, and I can breathe easily through them. I have one particularly soft one I keep forgetting to take off when I get back into my house, or get into my car because it's so comfortable! Lisa has brought a little lightness and playfulness to this awful mess we are in and I'm SO grateful for her skill and Imagination!

Margaret

OMG!!!!!! Thank you SOOO much for the mask with the cannabis leaf!!!

Kendra

Lisa, I want to thank you for making beautiful face masks for my family. The boys (and I) think they are wonderful. The workmanship is impeccable and they style and fabric choices perfect. Love the sleeve that allows for the addition of another layer of protection. Thanks again for your beautiful work!

Just wanted to tell you that I bought a few masks from you and get so many compliments on how cute they are. I have given several people your website. Keep up the good work!

Allison

I love wearing mine, and always get complements. It's fun being noticed for something interesting and beautiful! On a side note, I took a teaching job from March through May, and brought my LOVE WINS button with me. I pinned it on the poster of behavior expectations. It was eye catching and set the right tone for our 1st grade classroom. It's my favorite saying now. Your LOVE WINS colors and design should be on your bags! You should brand it if you haven't already!

Mary

The first time I entered into the boutique in Lakeport was this past summer after a friend that was visiting and I had been out shopping. Stepping inside was like wandering into another planet compared to the shopping we?d been doing all weekend with beautiful handcrafted leather everywhere the eye could see. Unique pieces made into corsets and small capes and all types of wonder. Denim for Days and Rock n Roll Shirts for Miles. So much to look at and at the same time not overwhelming but welcoming. We just happened to be out thrifting older vintage clothing. I had a leather jacket I had picked up in the car with some stains on it. So my thought was maybe someone in the shop could help me figure out how to clean it as I myself knew that working with suede could be tricky. Enter the shop owner and she was so helpful and gave me plenty of advice for something I hadn?t even purchased from this store. A month or so goes by and I decided to treat myself to a VIP concert for a favorite Artist of mine. Time to start thinking about what I?d wear. Sourcing clothes has become a new hobby of mine. The more I thought about it the more I knew I wanted something more special than a cool kitschy Vintage find. I was going to be bolder with this outfit so I went in and starting spouting out ideas for what I might be able to put together to look more unique and stand out in a crowd of Country Rockers and avid concert goers. Throckmorton Jones to the rescue. They helped me hone in on what it was that was going to become one of my new favourite pieces of clothing for one of the most memorable experiences of my life so far. If you want to know what it?s like to wear art as clothing I suggest you mosey into this wonderland of riches and custom create alongside a master of their craft and never look back. I will be asking them to create a sister look for this piece as I?m going to a show again at the end of October and do not want to show up in anything less than a Throckmorton Jones original. The amount of looks and comments and compliments I received was like arriving into a new version of myself and though you might think how could clothing help to make me feel this way. My answer is to try for yourself and see if you can pull it off because life is to short not to look and feel as fabulous as you can and how we present to the world says a lot about who we are inside. I wanted to feel special and this clothing did that and more for me I?m forever grateful for stumbling upon this Diamond of a Shop in my hometown where I grew up and it makes me grin ear to ear knowing we have such a welcoming establishment at our fingertips. Rock On and Dress for the Gods I know I?m not done returning to myself and looking Stylish and like walking Art in the process.

Lisa is truly a gem in our small town. She is an incredibly talented textile specialist with an impressive depth of knowledge, and her custom leatherwork is absolutely beautiful. She made me a reversible custom belt that is not only exceptionally well-crafted, but also incredibly clever. I have two pairs of shoes in different colors, and Lisa designed the belt so that it works perfectly with both. When I switch shoes, I simply reverse the buckle, flip the belt over, and I?m ready to go. It?s a perfect example of how her creativity and technical knowledge come together to make something both functional and unique. What makes Lisa especially impressive is the breadth of her expertise. Her knowledge of textiles, fabrics, and how different materials perform under different conditions is so extensive that she has even been sought out for military projects requiring specialized textile expertise. Her craftsmanship, creativity, and knowledge are truly exceptional. We are incredibly fortunate to have someone with her level of talent and expertise right here in our small town. If you have an idea for a custom leather or textile project, I highly recommend talking to Lisa?you?ll be hard-pressed to find someone who knows their craft better. Elan Moyal

Throckmorton Jones is AMAZING! Lisa took my favorite belt and handmade a replacement based on the design. I loved her work so much I had a second one made just recently. Lisa was incredibly communicative, asked just the right questions and delivered a belt that I will love for years to come. Thank you Lisa. You rock! Jay K.

Throckmorton Jones is a unique shop with custom clothing, leather goods, jeans, belts, old-school metal shirts, and plenty of other cool items. They made me a custom belt, and the experience was excellent. I only had a vague idea of what I wanted, but they were patient and helped me create the right design. They finished it on time, kept me updated, and the belt came in a custom leather bag. They even included a matching change pouch at no extra cost. Great craftsmanship, customer service, and attention to detail. Highly recommended James P.

The treasure of Lakeport and a bridge to the fashion industry. I found this luscious retail microcosm and to my delight discovered a unique mastery of artistry with the experience to back it up. Lisa knows her textiles, craft, and has a vision unsurpassed! Ron is a heart centered craftsman who inspires the eye of the seeker. Gifted and driven this powerhouse couple taps into the spiritual and creates from the soul. I am a teacher and refuse to waste my money on bags to hold my many teaching tools. Lisa not only knew what I needed, but she offered to custom make a bag for me that is not only filled with sacred symbolism, but is functional for my rough and sometimes heavy items. Thank god we have some true small businesses coming into lakeport for whom I not only feel proud to know, but proud to wear! 💜🐟🙏 Sarah A.

Flawless with Hailey recommends Throckmorton Jones. July 28 ? I LOVE throckmorton! This place is so uniquely crafted. I get stuck looking at each piece and how one of a kind they are from the next. Ive bought multiple things here, all fit like a glove, and i get compliments on them any time they are worn out. Most recently, Lisa created a bikini for me out of snapping turtle leather. She was thorough, thoughtful, and absolutely killed it beyond what i expected. So glad this shop has come to Lake county and dipped our toes in an artists dream. Hailey

Throckmorton and Jones, 341 N Main St, Lakeport. It?s a great place to shop, I love to pop in and see the unique clothing and leather goods. Thank you Lisa, I appreciate the beautiful repairs on a treasured leather knife sheath. It looks terrific after you hand stitched the repairs and re-dyed the leather. It still has a vintage appearance.
